USA Office (Paramus, NJ)

• Fund Accountant

  We are looking to hire an accountant with experience in Hedge Fund accounting. This person would participate on enhancing fund administration and accounting systems.

  Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field.
  • 7-10 years Hedge Fund accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with on-shore and off-shore market.
  • Experience in calculation of NAVs, performance/incentive fees (equalization), management fees, reconciliation, profit/loss and K-1.
  • Working knowledge of structures such as: Fund of Funds, LPs, Master Feeder and Private Equity.
  • Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in working on projects and working as part of a team.
• Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester

  We are looking to hire a Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester whose role will include but will not be limited to:

  • Testing and analysis of modules within all Koger products.
  • Devising testing strategies and scripts in HPQC.
  • Updating testing scripts based on reported issues/changes/upgrades to the software.
  • Reporting status and results of System Test Activities to Project Managers and team members.
  • Coordinating and communicating with developer groups on issue fixes, enhancements and other modifications.
  • Recommend Quality Assurance process improvement strategies to ensure that client's business and technical needs are met.
  • Carry out testing projects ensuring to meet assigned deadlines.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Finance or related field.
  • 2-5 years software testing/support experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
  • Good problem solving abilities.
  • Quick learner.

SLOVAKIA Office (Kosice)

• Client/Server Application Developer

  We are currently seeking an experienced PowerBuilder or other client/server application programmer with minimum of two to five years of working experience to perform development, maintenance and enhancements of a fund administration financial system. Previous experience in financial sector development is a plus. Master of Science degree in computer science or closely related field is required. Candidate will be working within an Application Development Team, and will be required to: follow defined software life cycle which shall include assistance in the production of application design specifications, coding and unit testing activities, liaise with other teams to specify and develop the application and its support in live environments. Experience in developing in PowerBuilder ver. 9 & 11 is a plus. Conversational English language skills are preferred.

• Database Administrator

  We are currently seeking a suitable candidate with minimum of two to five years of working experience to fill our database specialist, administrator and/or analyst position. Responsibilities include exceptional knowledge of relational database, writing, debugging and maintaining of SQL scripts, analysis of database schema and database performance, design of database architecture and integration with application code. English language skills are required.

• Java Programmer

  We are currently seeking a suitable candidate with minimum of two to five years of working experience to fill our Java Developer/Programmer position. Person will be responsible for development of financial database software very similar to internet banking using mostly J2EE technology. Knowledge of distributed three tier applications, internet/intranet technology, JAVA2, J2EE, EJB, JSP, JavaScript, XML/XSL, SQL, Web services, BPEL4WS are expected skills for this position. English language skills are required.

• Software Test Manager

  Responsibilities

  • Managing the global testing process
  • Devising testing strategies and scripts
  • Mentoring and coaching the team on testing best practices
  • Reporting status and results of System Test Activities to Project Managers and team members
  • Coordinating and communicating with developers on bug fixes and required modifications
  • Updating testing scripts based on bugs and changes/upgrades to the applications/software
  • Making recommendations regarding long-term development of Quality Assurance process

  Requirements

  • Experience in the financial services industries/fund administration essential
  • A Third Level degree in a software development related discipline
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in developing and implementing QA processes
  • Minimum of 3 years as a Test Manager
  • Strong organisational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment / structured test environment and good communication skills
  • Understanding of full SDLC
  • Automation testing experience
  • Regression Testing and UAT experience

  Experience in the following would be an advantage:

  • HP Quality Center, Jira
  • SQL, Databases
  • A general knowledge and appreciation of internet technologies and security issues
  • ISEB Accreditation
  • XML
