GlobalReach for Back-Office Web Communications

In 2002, Koger had a vision of abstract, pluggable interfaces that could link all Koger products. That vision led first to the Global Reach Initiative and then to a family of application program interfaces as well as GRID, the Global Reach Interface Daemon. Today, Koger supports integration of all of its products with any third-party back-office system as well as integration of its Web-based technology into a client’s existing Web infrastructure, Web site, or portal.

GRID - Global Reach Interface Daemon The object of the Global Reach Initiative was the back-office system…the tool that empowers the formal processes of administrative operations. The back-office not only sets the standard for proper functional and servicing requirements but also maintains the interfaces that enable system members to communicate and exchange data. It is, in effect, like an orchestra whose many musicians coordinate to produce music at the right pitch and tempo.

To integrate back-office systems and extend to them Web-based technology, Koger supports the following interfaces:

GlobalReach Interface Daemon (GRID)

An abstract middleware interface running as a service, enabling transparent, auditable, and bidirectional NTAS information processing between any third-party system or entity and the NTAS application.

Interface that enables an existing Web infrastructure, Web site, or portal to leverage NTAS Equalization Export functionality. Equalization exports are handled directly by NTAS application calls, thus guaranteeing complete transparency and accuracy of NTAS-audited data, all in real time.
